Silica Verfahrenstechnik GmbH is officially supplying the hydrogen purification and drying systems for Southern Europe’s largest green hydrogen project, developed by Moeve. Located at the La Rábida Energy Park in Huelva, Spain, the „Andalusian Green Hydrogen Valley“ project is a massive step forward for the energy transition.
With a capacity of 300 MW, the „Onuba“ plant will have the capability to produce around 45,000 tons of green hydrogen annually, reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 250,000 tons per year. In a subsequent expansion phase, the capacity will be increased to 400 MW. We are incredibly proud to support Moeve in this pioneering project.
