Silica Verfahrenstechnik GmbH is proud to announce that two hydrogen purification and drying units have been successfully shipped to the Tweede Maasvlakte in the Port of Rotterdam for Shell Netherlands.
The units will purify and dry green hydrogen produced by a 200-megawatt electrolyser plant as part of one of the largest renewable hydrogen projects in Europe – Holland Hydrogen 1. The hydrogen purification and drying units were ordered by ConPacksys, an engineering company based in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. Through close collaboration between ConPacksys, Worley, and Shell, the project has been successfully executed and will support the production of up to 80,000 kilograms of renewable hydrogen per day.
